Clause 4.1 Characteristic values, paragraph (1)

The characteristic values of snow load on the ground sk in Finland should be obtained from the map.

Clause 4.3 Treatment of exceptional snow loads on the ground, paragraph (1)

Exceptional snow load is not considered.

Ct can lesser than 1,0. The snow load sk shall however always be at least 0,5 kN/m2

μw = 0,8 if the area of the lower roof is ≥ 1 m2
Intermediate upper values for factor μw can be obtained by linear interpolation when the area of the lower roof is < 6 m2.
